Built for the company between the job site and the general ledger.

Oh! Thyme began with one California solar construction company: crews on remote sites, office staff on projects, NetSuite for the books and Paycom for payroll.

Why it exists.

Hours were approved in NetSuite by project, then exported for Paycom by hand each period: dates trimmed, standby time recoded, missing employee numbers looked up. Paycom received two pay types, Regular and PTO, so California's overtime rates and break premiums had nowhere to go on the pay stub.

The tools on the market split in two. Field apps knew GPS and crews but not NetSuite. NetSuite's own timesheets knew projects but not a gate at 5:30 in the morning with no signal. Oh! Thyme is the piece in between: people record time once, the law is computed, and each system gets its part.

What we hold to.

Pay to the minute

No rounding where the law does not allow it. The raw punches are kept and judged, and every change says who made it and why.

Track presence, not people

Location is read once at each punch. Never during the shift, never after it. Crews install the app on their own phones, so this matters.

Trust people with small things

People fix their own small mistakes until payroll closes. Supervisors spend their time on the days that need them.

Where we are.

Every change, dated.

  1. Guides and articles

Setup guides for every connection, and articles on California break and overtime law, each with its sources.

  2. Alerts you can clear

Alerts show what is new, newest first, in plain words, and can be cleared.

  3. Forgotten clock-outs settle in one answer

A person who forgot to clock out answers once, and nobody decides their own request.

  4. Time off shows the balance after

Requests show the balance left after the waiting ones, or the overage. Each kind says whether it is paid and who decides it, and it goes to the right approver.

  5. Offline punches are never lost

A punch saved without signal is kept on the phone until it is sent.
