Time tracking that treats NetSuite as the source of truth.

People and projects come from NetSuite every night. Approved hours go back as ordinary time entries, so job costing in NetSuite is right without anyone retyping a timesheet.

What syncs.

RecordDirectionWhat happens
EmployeesIn, nightly at 2 AMWith department, first day, supervisor, time approver and the Paycom code field.
ProjectsIn, nightlyNested as they are in NetSuite. Closed projects drop off the phone.
Project tasksIn, nightlyTasks named for time off, such as "PTO: Sick", become kinds of time off.
Time entriesOut, after approvalOne per person, day, project and task. Sending again updates the same entry.
ApprovalsBoth waysApprove in Oh! Thyme, or in NetSuite and it is read back. A rejection sends the day back with a note.
Time offOut, on its dayApproved time off posts on its time off task once its day has come.

Safe to connect to production.

Least privilege

The role can add time entries and read employees, projects, tasks and customers. Nothing else. Crews never sign in to NetSuite.

NetSuite's current API

REST with OAuth 2.0 sign-in, using a certificate whose private key never leaves Oh! Thyme. Not the older SOAP API Oracle is retiring.

Never twice

Sending a day again updates its time entry in NetSuite. It never adds a second one.

About 20 minutes for your NetSuite admin.

Every click is in the NetSuite setup guide.

  1. Enable features

REST Web Services and OAuth 2.0, under SuiteCloud.

  2. Create the role

Oh! Thyme Integration, with the six permissions in our guide.

  3. Create the integration

Client credentials grant only. Upload the certificate Oh! Thyme makes.

  4. Save and test

Questions from NetSuite admins.

Do crews need NetSuite licenses?

Crews never sign in to NetSuite. Their hours arrive through the one role your admin creates. Check your own agreement with your NetSuite account manager.

Does it install a SuiteApp?

No. Nothing is installed in NetSuite beyond the role, the integration record and, if you need it, one custom field for the Paycom employee code.

Can we try it in our sandbox first?

Yes, and we recommend it. A sandbox refresh erases the integration and certificate there, so repeat those two steps after each refresh. Production needs its own.

Does it work with Advanced Approvals?

Entries arrive for approval and Oh! Thyme reads back the status, so managers can keep approving in NetSuite. Only approved hours go to payroll.
